Expertise, Inspiration and Action
FILICARE Personal and Home Support Services is built on a foundation of professional expertise and heartfelt inspiration. My journey began in the Philippines as a pharmacist and medical technologist but, my true calling was always found in the quiet, human moments – counseling patients and listening to the stories of seniors and individuals with disabilities I served.
This transition from the laboratory and pharmacy to the heart of the home is a tribute to those who shaped my heart. FILICARE is dedicated to the memory of my employers, Dr. Sydney and Mrs. Ethel Taylor whose profound kindness inspired the “help for your help” philosophy they envisioned for my future.
As a newcomer to Canada, I am also deeply grateful to my former employer and mentor, Dr. Mansour Bendago, whose encouragement bolstered my confidence and provided me a life challenging lesson: To help someone in need, you don’t just watch them – you must do something for them. Today, I am proud to bring these legacies to life to Canadian families.
At FILICARE, we move beyond observation to provide the active, compassionate assistance, seniors and people with disabilities need most. This call to action is the heart of everything we do.
